This week’s menu – Saturday August 1 2015

I’m writing the weekly shopping list this evening, wondering what mix of old favourites and hopefully soon to be new favourites to cook for suppers this week. Here’s what I’ve got so far:

Menu for Sunday 2 August to Sunday 9 August

Sunday: Mussels and crusty brown bread.
Monday: Oven roast ham, creamy mashed potatoes topped with poached egg, braised celery.
Tuesday: Leftover roast ham in egg and noodle soup (recipe to follow).
Wednesday: Leftover ham baked with eggs, spinach and tomatoes (recipe to follow).
Thursday: Moroccan meatballs with creamy mash and green vegetables (recipe to follow).
Friday: Seafood and Orzo soup with chunky wholemeal bread.
Saturday: Leftover Moroccan meatballs with pasta and garlic bread.
Sunday: Goan marsala curry with noodles.

Feedback for Menu for Sunday 2 August to Sunday 9 August

Sunday: Mussels and crusty brown bread. Store bought mussels in a garlic and wine sauce. Fast, simple and delicious.
